We are seeking a Newly Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor to join our growing Residential Property department at our Braintree office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to develop their conveyancing career within a supportive, quality‑focused environment. You will work under the close supervision and guidance of a Senior Associate Solicitor, with structured support to help you build confidence, technical ability, and strong client relationships.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, appropriate to experience
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction through to completion
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and supporting documentation
  • Dealing with title issues, searches, and enquiries
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors in a professional and proactive manner
  • Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction
  • Working closely with the Senior Associate to develop technical knowledge and best practice
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, lender, and firm requirements
  • Contributing positively to the continued growth and success of the Braintree property team

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Newly qualified as a Solicitor (or shortly due to qualify)
  • Genuinely interested in residential conveyancing
  • Organised, motivated, and keen to learn
