Job Description

The Role

As an Employment Partner, you will play a key role in developing and leading the firm’s employment law services. You will handle a broad and high-quality caseload, while also driving strategic growth and team development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising employers and employees across the full spectrum of employment law
  • Managing both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
    • Tribunal claims
    • Redundancy and restructuring
    • Disciplinary and grievance processes
    • Employment contracts, policies, and handbooks
    • Settlement agreements
  • Developing and growing the department through business development and networking

Key Requirements

We are looking for a commercially-minded and driven solicitor who is ready to take ownership of a department and contribute at a strategic level.

You will ideally have:

  • Significant post-qualification experience in employment law
  • A strong background advising employer clients
  • Experience managing complex and sensitive matters independently
  • A track record of business development and client relationship management
  • The ambition and capability to lead and grow a department
  • Excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
