Job Description
The Role
As an Employment Partner, you will play a key role in developing and leading the firm’s employment law services. You will handle a broad and high-quality caseload, while also driving strategic growth and team development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising employers and employees across the full spectrum of employment law
- Managing both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Tribunal claims
- Redundancy and restructuring
- Disciplinary and grievance processes
- Employment contracts, policies, and handbooks
- Settlement agreements
- Developing and growing the department through business development and networking
Key Requirements
We are looking for a commercially-minded and driven solicitor who is ready to take ownership of a department and contribute at a strategic level.
You will ideally have:
- Significant post-qualification experience in employment law
- A strong background advising employer clients
- Experience managing complex and sensitive matters independently
- A track record of business development and client relationship management
- The ambition and capability to lead and grow a department
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
