We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with strong experience in residential property.
  • Familiar with CQS requirements and able to undertake structured file reviews.
  • Flexible, organised and able to step in to support colleagues when needed.
  • A strong communicator who takes pride in delivering excellent client care.
  • Comfortable with case management systems and modern conveyancing processes.

Job Description

As a Property Support Lawyer, you will act as a key point of expertise for our branch‑wide conveyancing department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal and technical support to conveyancers on freehold, leasehold, new build, and more complex residential transactions.
  • Supporting a quality-driven, not high-volume, environment
  • Assisting with title review, complex enquiries, drafting, and resolving legal issues arising during transactions.
  • Acting as an escalation point for novel, challenging, or high‑risk matters.
  • Supporting fee‑earners with compliance, risk management, and adherence to lender and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting file reviews for CQS compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory, lender and quality standards.
  • Providing locum cover within the department to support colleagues during annual leave or short‑term absences, ensuring continuity of service
