Job Description

The Role

You will work closely with and directly support Jennifer Hardy, Head of Litigation and Partner, gaining hands-on experience across a varied and high-quality caseload.

This role is ideally suited to someone keen to accelerate their development, with direct exposure to complex matters and close partner-level supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters
  • Managing your own caseload (with appropriate supervision)
  • Supporting on more complex and higher-value disputes
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
  • Attending client meetings, conferences, and hearings
  • Building strong client relationships and maintaining high service standards

Key Requirements

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic solicitor who is committed to developing their litigation career.

You will ideally have:

  • NQ to 2 years’ PQE in litigation (or strong litigation seat during training)
  • A solid grounding in civil procedure and dispute resolution
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • The ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
