Fixed Fee Divorce – Instruct a Solicitor

£500.00 plus VAT

On the basis that your divorce is undefended and straight forward we will represent you from start to finish from initial instructions to final order.

About this Service

If you are the Applicant to a divorce our fixed fee will include the following:

  • Drafting the application
  • Correspondence with the other party or their solicitors
  • Sending your application to the Court
  • Preparing your statement in support of divorce and application for a Conditional Order
  • Preparing your application for Final Order
  • Offering you advice concerning the divorce throughout

The fixed fee does not include the following:

  • Payment of any Court fees (the Court fee for issuing a divorce petition is currently £593)
  • The cost of having to arrange for the other other party to be personally served with the divorce papers if he/she does not acknowledge receiving them
  • Applying for an order for service other than by post
  • Representing you at any Court hearings
  • Amending any papers after they have been sent to the Court
  • Any cost in relation to obtaining a certified copy of your marriage certificate (if you do not have the original)
  • Any cost in relation to translating your marriage certificate if it is not in English
  • Any advice in relation to children and finance issues
