Solicitors for Specific Issue/Prohibited Steps Orders

As a parent you can also apply to the Court to a Specific Issue Order or Prohibited Steps Order.  A Specific Issue Order is where a party asks the Court to make an Order on a specific issue, such as what religion the child is to be brought up with, or whether the child should have a specific medical procedure.  A Prohibited Steps Order is an Order whereby the Court can prohibit one parent from taking some action, e.g. prohibit a parent from removing a child from school.
